The decisions found the map legal and rejected challenges raised through the referendum process and claims of constitutional noncompliance. Supporters, including Gov. The map, signed into law by Gov. Mike Kehoe (R-MO) in 2025, dices up the Democratic district surrounding Kansas City and aims to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/state\/4538440\/by-the-numbers-how-many-seats-has-each-party-gained\/\">give the GOP a 7-1 advantage<\/a> over Democrats.
