Bondi is set to testify on May 29, Epstein\u2019s executive assistant Lesley Groff on June 9, and Gates on June 10. Epstein\u2019s client Leon Gates will testify on June 26 and former Obama White House Counsel Kathy Ruemmler on July 15.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Bondi faced scrutiny over the Justice Department\u2019s handling of releasing the Epstein files in a timely manner before she was fired last month.<\/p>\n<p>While Gates has maintained his claim that he \u201csaw nothing illicit\u201d when it came to his relationship with Epstein, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/4471425\/bill-gates-apologizes-foundation-staff-jeffrey-epstein-relationship\/\">the tech mogul apologized to his staff<\/a> earlier this year for his close ties with the sex offender.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein and bring Gates Foundation executives into meetings with the convicted sex offender,\u201d the former\u00a0Microsoft\u00a0chief said during a town hall with staff at the Gates Foundation. \u201cI apologize to other people who are drawn into this because of the mistake that I made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The transcribed interviews come as the oversight panel has been conducting an extensive investigation into Epstein\u2019s crimes and as the Justice Department has released millions of documents. The committee has already conducted ten interviews, including with former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/4558018\/howard-lutnick-testifies-epstein-ties-house-oversight-committee\/\">Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick<\/a>, former Attorney General Bill Barr, Epstein\u2019s former associate and girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, and billionaire Les Wexner.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/4560614\/congress-uncomfortable-truths-tmz-coverage\/\">CONGRESS CONFRONTS UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTHS IN ITS TMZ ERA: \u2018I\u2019M NOT AFRAID OF ANYBODY\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the investigation, the committee has released multiple <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/oversightdemocrats.house.gov\/news\/press-releases\/oversight-democrats-release-third-batch-documents-jeffrey-epstein-estate\">batches of documents<\/a> related to the files, many of which were obtained from the committee\u2019s subpoena to Epstein\u2019s estate.
