Abigail Spanberger. Kaine and Warner announced the introduction of their legislation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/senate-bill\/4339\">S 4339<\/a> or \u201cThe Virginia Plan to Reduce Gun Violence Act,\u201d in an April 16 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaine.senate.gov\/press-releases\/warner-and-kaine-introduce-legislation-to-safeguard-americans-from-the-scourge-of-gun-violence\">release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNineteen years ago today, 32 people were tragically killed at Virginia Tech in a senseless act of violence. I was Governor of Virginia at the time, and my memories of the grieving families, friends, and Hokie community will stay with me forever.
