It claims Democratic lawmakers oppose basic voter ID and citizenship verification despite public support,and it criticizes specific Republican senators for voting against adding the act to a reconciliation package.<\/p>\n<p>To support the argument, it cites multiple alleged or proven cases from various states\/years, including:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; An individual in Colorado convicted for voting using the names of a deceased ex-husband and son (2022).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A man in Michigan pleading guilty to voting illegally and using a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >fraudulent identity\/passport-related scheme tied<\/a> to denied citizenship claims.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Additional pending and alleged cases involving illegal ballots, identity theft used for voter registration or ballot submission, and non-citizens voting while also making allegedly false statements on citizenship paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>The article concludes that Democrats\u2019 claim of no need for reforms is presented as incorrect and that repeatedly blocking election reforms harms the integrity of U.S. elections.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/05\/04\/4-noncitizens-charged-for-allegedly-voting-as-save-america-act-stalls-in-senate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>four aliens have been charged for allegedly voting<\/u><\/a> in three U.S. elections as the SAVE America Act, to the great detriment of the American people, seems to be stuck in the U.S. Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Democrat politicos maintain their insane position of preventing even the most basic ID requirements and the verification of the citizenship of voters (hmmm, we wonder why \u2026) despite overwhelming support for both measures by the public, including their own constituents. They constantly repeat the mantra that there is no fraud that we need to be concerned about. Like a cop at the scene of a bad accident <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NuAKnbIr6TE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>saying<\/u><\/a>, \u201cMove along! Nothing to see here.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>But what\u2019s especially disappointing <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/5844521-save-america-act-budget-package\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>are the Republican<\/u><\/a> senators who have voted <em>against<\/em> adding the SAVE America Act to a reconciliation package: Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis, and Mitch McConnell. <\/p>\n<p>So, here are just a few more recent cases to remind them that, yes, election fraud does occur, so yes, we need <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harris-faulkner-challenges-ro-khanna-on-police-reform-children-who-look-like-me-arent-dying-from-chokeholds\/\" title=\"Harris Faulkner Challenges Ro Khanna On Police Reform: \u2018Children \u2026 Who Look Like Me Aren\u2019t Dying From Chokeholds\u2019\">common sense reforms<\/a> to try to prevent it. <\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with Elizabeth Ann Davis from Castle Rock, Colorado, who was <a href=\"https:\/\/coda23.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Elizabeth-Davis-Voter-Fraud-Verdict.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>found guilty<\/u><\/a> of casting a ballot in the name of her deceased ex-husband and son in the 2022 general election. She was convicted on two counts of forgery and one count of impersonating an elector. This tops off her extensive criminal record of forgery, theft, drug offenses, and prostitution. For this latest offense, Davis was sentenced <a href=\"https:\/\/kdvr.com\/news\/local\/colorado-woman-sentenced-to-3-years-for-voter-fraud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>to three years in prison<\/u><\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>There is also Jose Gargenis Vasquez-Rosa, an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlive.com\/news\/ann-arbor\/2026\/01\/man-from-dominican-republic-pleads-guilty-to-passport-voter-fraud.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>pleaded guilty<\/u><\/a> in Michigan to illegally voting and fraudulently obtaining a U.S. passport. After his application for citizenship was denied (due to falsely claiming he was the spouse of a U.S. citizen), Vasquez-Rosa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-edmi\/pr\/illegal-allien-pleads-guilty-voting-2020-election-and-lying-obtain-us-passport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>assumed the fraudulent identity<\/u><\/a> of a Puerto Rican man to vote in the 2018 and 2020 elections. <\/p>\n<p>And here are even more cases where people have been charged (and are presumed to be innocent) and are awaiting trial.<\/p>\n<p>Esperanza Contreras from Pasco, Washington, is facing felony charges for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kiro7.com\/news\/local\/pasco-woman-charged-with-casting-illegal-ballots-2024-election\/MMHDQA46QNCKPLVG4WTPAXVXNA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>casting illegal ballots<\/u><\/a> in the 2024 election. Contreras allegedly completed ballots for ex-tenants at the apartment complex she manages without their knowledge. One ballot was flagged and caught, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/news\/article-15456485\/Washington-arrest-fraudulent-ballots-2024-election-Esperanza-Contreras.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>other three were counted.<\/u><\/a> Washington is an all-mail election state, making it easy for someone like Contreras to get her hands on ballots mailed by election officials to former residents.<\/p>\n<p>Then there is <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/florida-petition-circulator-accused-of-stealing-signer-identities-to-file-fraudulent-voter-attorney-general-james-uthmeier-florida-news-identity-theft-teagen-marie-targhuhanuchi-of-titusville-exploited-january-24-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Teagen Marie Targhuhanuchi <\/u><\/a>from Titusville, Florida, who is facing 12 counts of identity theft and 12 counts of submission of fraudulent forms to register voters without their knowledge. It is alleged that Targhuhanuchi\u00a0was collecting signatures for a pro-marijuana amendment and used that information to fill out the applications. If she hadn\u2019t been caught, she could have submitted absentee ballots for those voters. <\/p>\n<p>Two alien \u201cvoters\u201d in New Jersey, Muhammad Muzammal and Muhammad Shakeel, were <a href=\"https:\/\/theridgewoodblog.net\/voter-fraud-indictment-two-maywood-men-charged-with-illegal-voting-in-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>indicted<\/u><\/a> for casting ballots in the 2020 general election. <em>After<\/em> they allegedly voted, both applied for citizenship and \u201cstated under oath that they had <strong>never<\/strong> registered to vote or cast a ballot in any U.S. election.\u201d They are facing charges for voting illegally and lying on their citizenship applications. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.5newsonline.com\/article\/news\/crime\/woman-ice-northwest-arkansas-arrest-perjury-voter-laws\/527-8adfbd29-9f46-4305-a6b8-304faa164174\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Three more cases<\/u><\/a> of alleged alien voting come from Arkansas: Cecilia Castellanos from Cuba who allegedly marked on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/leading-candidate-for-new-york-city-mayor-may-not-live-in-city-report-suggests\/\" title=\"Leading Candidate For New York City Mayor May Not Live In City, Report Suggests\">voter registration form<\/a> that she was a U.S. citizen and then voted in the 2024 general election; Chi Baum from Nigeria who also allegedly marked on her voter registration form that she was a U.S. citizen and voted in the 2024 general election; and Zlata Risley from Kazakhstan who allegedly voted illegally in the 2024 Republican preferential primary. <\/p>\n<p>Castellanos has \u201ca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kait8.com\/2025\/10\/03\/three-non-citizens-arrested-illegally-voting-arkansas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>pending order of removal<\/u><\/a> by an immigration judge from 1999,\u201d along with three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/man-arrested-in-connection-to-sacramento-shooting-was-released-early-from-prison-despite-da-opposition\/\" title=\"... Arrested in Connection to Sacramento Shooting Was Released Early from Prison Despite DA Opposition\">prior felony convictions<\/a> in New York, while Baum is a conditional permanent resident, and Risley is a lawful permanent resident. Castellanos and Baum face charges of perjury and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/arkansas-ag-nabs-noncitizens-from-nigeria-cuba-kazakhstan-accused-of-voting-in-2024\/\" title=\"Arkansas AG Nabs Noncitizens from Nigeria, Cuba, Kazakhstan Accused of ... in 2024\">felony election law violations<\/a>, and Risley faces one felony election law charge.  <\/p>\n<p>But the list goes on. Here are a few more examples of alien voting. <\/p>\n<p>In Florida: Jaquelin Wallace, an illegal alien from Jamaica who voted in the 2024 election, and Rochelle Deborah Johnson, an illegal alien from the Bahamas who voted in the 2020 election. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2026\/apr\/3\/two-illegal-immigrants-florida-plead-guilty-voting-us-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>They pleaded guilty<\/u><\/a> to lying about their citizenship status in order to cast a ballot. <\/p>\n<p>In Texas: An illegal alien from Mexico, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndtx\/pr\/illegal-alien-federally-charged-identity-theft-voter-fraud-and-passport-fraud-after\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Eliseo Morales-Tapia<\/u><\/a>, has been charged with voting in an election in Tarrant County using the credentials of an individual in Chicago. <\/p>\n<p>In North Carolina: <a href=\"https:\/\/wcti12.com\/news\/local\/canadian-national-pleads-guilty-to-illegal-voting-in-north-carolina\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Denis Bouchard<\/u><\/a>, a Canadian national, pleaded guilty to two charges after he lied about his citizenship status and voted in 2022 and 2024. <\/p>\n<p>In Pennsylvania: An illegal alien from Mauritania, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/illegal-immigrant-charged-voting-pennsylvania-5-presidential-elections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>Mahady Sacko<\/u><\/a>, was charged with voting in the 2024 general, the 2020 general and primary, the 2016 general and primary, the 2012 general, and the 2008 general elections. All despite having a removal order from 2000. <\/p>\n<p>And Democrats say there is no reason for the SAVE America Act because aliens never register or vote illegally in our elections.
