The case was reported by WDTV less than a week after Trump was targeted again in a July 2024 incident at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/flaw-and-order-trump-trial-in-georgia-built-on-weak-foundation\/\" title=\"Weak Foundation: ...&#039;s Georgia Trial Marred by Flaws\">campaign-related event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Morrow was arrested in January 2026 following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald ...\">social media posts<\/a>, including one video captioned in a way prosecutors said could be interpreted as discussing a \u201csniper,\u201d and police allegedly did not advise her of her Miranda rights before questioning her. Morrow of Ripley, West Virginia, was charged in January with one count of making a terroristic threat, the agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JacksonCountySheriffsDepartment\/posts\/pfbid02RC5BnaTmTroRv3EJgGxyo8pJ2GWsxodNwaVvZgyojqpvbWu6fXbr4zQ6CAd1kJgol\">posted<\/a> on its page. Prosecutors, though, elected to dismiss the charges \u201cwithout prejudice,\u201d Clarksburg-area TV station WDTV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdtv.com\/2026\/04\/30\/case-dismissed-against-woman-accused-trump-assassination-plot\/\">reported<\/a> Thursday, less than a week after Trump was targeted by a would-be assassin at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Meet Morgan L. Trump was struck in the right ear after Thomas Crooks fired multiple shots at him during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A Secret Service agent thwarted an attempt by Ryan Wesley Routh in September 2024, who was lurking near the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a rifle.
