The ban applies instantly, prohibiting senators, staff, and officers from placing bets or using platforms such as Polymarket or Kalshi, citing risks including insider trading and national security concerns. The final legislation also included an <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/metzgov\/status\/2049902796573389286?s=20\">amendment<\/a> from Sen.
