Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the goverment\u2019s actions devastated Christian Americans, and the report claims federal prosecutors and a National Task Force on Violence Against Reproductive Health Care providers coordinated closely with abortion NGOs such as the National Abortion Federation and planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>The report alleges that task force officials monitored <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/americans-remember-the-48th-annual-march-for-life\/\" title=\"Americans remember the 48th annual March for Life\">pro-life activists<\/a> for years before bringing charges, while NGOs allegedly supplied DOJ with \u201csecurity reports\u201d or dossiers containing personal information. It also claims prosecutors withheld evidence requested by defense attorneys in at least one case and allegedly misrepresented whether the information existed.<\/p>\n<p>In court proceedings, the report says the administration attempted to exclude or disadvantage Christian jurors in a case involving pro-life defendants, including language suggesting defendants were \u201cculty.\u201d It further alleges sentencing disparities, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >claiming pro-life defendants received substantially harsher requested<\/a> and imposed sentences than pro-choice defendants.<\/p>\n<p>the report argues that the Biden IRS applied the Johnson Amendment unevenly by investigating churches whose religious teachings were seen as aligned with conservative politics, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/members-of-congress-blast-irs-for-denying-tax-exempt-status-to-christian-nonprofit-warn-taxing-churches-could-be-next\/\" title=\"Members Of Congress Blast ... Could Be Next\">denying tax-exempt status<\/a> in one case tied to political messaging from a pastor, and levying an excise tax on the association.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Biden administration sought to target and prosecute Christians, going so far as to allegedly withhold evidence for pro-life defendants, a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/media\/1438506\/dl?utm_medium=email&#038;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a> from the Justice Department reveals.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/task-force-publishes-report-eradicating-anti-christian-bias-and-restoring-religious-liberty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said in a statement<\/a> that the \u201cBiden Administration\u2019s actions devastated the lives of many Christian Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo American should live in fear that the federal government will punish them for their faith,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<h2>Biden DOJ \u2018Operated as an Enforcement Arm for Abortion NGOs\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Biden\u2019s dedicated National Task Force on Violence Against Reproductive Health Care providers closely coordinated with abortion activists and NGOs, effectively turning federal prosecutors into a mere extension of these abortion advocacy groups. DOJ task force leaders regularly had direct contact with the National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood, and other NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/centers-for-disease-control-again-refuses-to-lift-mask-mandates\/\" title=\"Centers for Disease Control Again Refuses to Lift Mask Mandates\">task force director<\/a> \u201c\u2018monitored\u2019 pro-life activists for years before charging them. \u2026 During the investigations of these cases, the NGOs sent DOJ \u2018security reports\u2019 or \u2018dossiers\u2019 on the activities of the pro-life activists and their personal information.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One example included a pro-abortion NGO sending the director and FBI a \u201c137-page memorandum on the conference schedule, lodging, and multi-page dossiers on numerous \u2018anti-choice individuals,\u2019 including many individuals that DOJ then prosecuted.\u201d Such dossiers reportedly contained addresses, photographs \u2014 including of family members and children \u2014 names of associates, and information about travel plans.<\/p>\n<h2>Biden Admin Withheld Evidence For Pro-Lifer<\/h2>\n<p>According to the report, \u201cThe Biden DOJ prosecutors knowingly withheld evidence that defense counsel requested to prepare an affirmative defense\u201d and \u201cfalsely claimed to not have such information available.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One example stems from <em>United States v. Gallagher,<\/em> in which the defense counsel asked federal prosecutors for \u201chistorical data on FACE Act protections,\u201d but the task force director claimed he did not retain those types of records, nor did he believe the department \u201cwill provide them.\u201d The report claims the task force director did have \u201creadily available\u201d such information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[READNEXT:[READNEXT:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/04\/28\/house-republicans-weaponization-victims-make-the-case-for-repealing-the-face-act\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">House Republicans, Weaponization Victims Make The Case For Repealing The FACE Act<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Biden Admin Tried To Exclude \u2018Culty\u2019 Christian Jurors<\/h2>\n<p>The Biden administration \u201ctried to screen out jurors based on religion\u201d in <em>United States v. Zastrow,<\/em> according to the report, maligning pro-life Christians as \u201cculty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAssistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) looked for ways to screen possible jurors based on their conservative or religious views, while not inquiring about liberal counterviews,\u201d the report claimed. In at least one instance, United States attorneys called Christian pro-lifers \u201cculty\u201d and \u201ccomplained that \u2018they ended up with a very Catholic magistrate on duty this week and he was very particular about the bond conditions and not infringing on [defendants\u2019] first amendment rights.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Biden DOJ \u2018Pursued More Severe Charges,\u2019 \u2018Significantly Harsher Sentences\u2019 For Pro-Lifers<\/h2>\n<p>The report found that the Biden DOJ \u201crequested an average sentence of 26.8 months for pro-life defendants, compared to 12.3 months for pro-choice defendants.\u201d Ultimately pro-life defendants received an average sentence of 14 months while pro-abortion defendants were given an average 3-month sentence, according to the report.<\/p>\n<h2>Biden IRS Investigated Churches Whose \u2018Religious Values Aligned With Conservative Political Views\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>The Biden IRS reportedly had a different set of standards when applying the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment prohibits tax-exempt organizations like churches from endorsing political candidates.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, the Biden IRS investigated churches because their \u201creligious values aligned with conservative political views.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn one matter, the Biden IRS denied a Christian organization\u2019s application for tax-exempt status because its \u2018[B]ible teachings are typically affiliated with the [Republican] party and candidates,\u2019\u201d according to the report. This purported violation that formed the basis for the denial occurred on Oct. 18, 2020, when a Leesburg, Virginia, pastor preached a sermon about the upcoming election and urged his congregants to vote \u201caccording to \u2018the values set forth in the Bible.&#8217;\u201d Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel reportedly said the Republican platform \u201cwas in greater alignment with the Bible than the Democratic Platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s IRS then levied an excise tax on the chapel for \u201calleged political expenditures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden IRS appeared \u201cto ignore open endorsements of liberal candidates at other churches\u201d when applying the Johnson Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>The report comes a day after Sen.
