The changes are intended to align with President Donald Trump\u2019s executive order on protecting Second Amendment rights,emphasizing clearer rules and focusing enforcement on \u201cwillful violators and criminal actors\u201d rather than responsible owners and licensees.<\/p>\n<p>Blanche said the reforms are meant to end what he described as \u201cweaponization\u201d against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/utah-axes-gun-permit-requirement\/\" title=\"Utah Axes Gun-Permit Requirement\u00a0\">law-abiding gun owners<\/a>,and noted that simplifying regulations will take time but won\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reps-axne-and-spanberger-took-cash-from-aocs-pro-defund-the-police-pac\/\" title=\"Reps. The overhaul was characterized as instituting \u201csimpler, clearer\u00a0regulations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One change will be to end the 2023 rule that restricted pistol braces, which was struck down in federal court. The attachments allow operators to keep the weapon against their shoulder while firing.
