When asked at a White House event whether the photo truly endangered his life, Trump said he was \u201cprobably\u201d not sure but claimed Comey had created \u201ctremendous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/despite-insistence-by-democrat-politicians-and-medical-elites-empirical-evidence-does-not-conclusively-show-that-masks-reduce-the-spread-of-covid\/\" title=\"Despite Insistence by Democrat Politicians and Medical Elites, Empirical Evidence DOES NOT Conclusively Show that Masks Reduce the Spread of COVID\">danger<\/a>,\u201d calling him a \u201cdirty cop.\u201d trump further suggested that \u201c86\u201d is a mob term meaning \u201ckill him,\u201d adding that people may interpret it as somthing connected to \u201cdisappearing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The post has as been deleted and included the caption about a \u201ccool shell formation\u201d on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tiger-woods-headed-to-augusta-playing-in-2022-masters-a-game-time-decision\/\" title=\"Tiger Woods Headed to Augusta \u2013 Playing in 2022 Masters a \u201cGame-... Decision...\">beach walk<\/a>. Comey has responded after the indictment with a video on substack asserting his innocence. prosecutors have charged Comey with threatening the president and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce. You know, Comey is a dirty cop.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Comey was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4546191\/james-comey-indicted-second-time-report\/\">indicted for a second time<\/a> by a grand jury in North Carolina on Tuesday over the picture, which was posted on Instagram last summer. The now-deleted post also included the caption: \u201cCool shell formation on my beach walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During Wednesday\u2019s White House event, Trump elaborated on the meaning of the message in Comey\u2019s post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, if anybody knows anything about crime, they know 86, you know, in the \u201980s, it\u2019s a mob term for kill him,\u201d Trump also said. \u201cYou ever see the movies, 86 \u2019em, the mobster says to one of his wonderful associates, 86 \u2019em, that means kill him. I think of it as a mob term. People think of it as something having to do with disappearing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Comey has <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/4547292\/james-comey-posts-video-in-response-to-new-doj-indictment\/\">released a video<\/a> on Substack professing his innocence after the indictment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, they\u2019re back,\u201d Comey said. \u201cThis time about a picture of seashells on a North Carolina beach a year ago.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4546191\/james-comey-indicted-second-time-report\/\">JAMES COMEY INDICTED FOR A SECOND TIME<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Comey faces two charges, which include \u201cthreatening the president in violation of 18 U.S.C. \u00a7 871(a) and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce in violation of 18 U.S.C. \u00a7 875(c).\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The first indictment against Comey in September 2025 was over allegations of lying to Congress about leaks to the press.
