Sen.Tim Sheehy (R-MT) and Rep. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has argued it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/inside-the-house-gop-plan-to-stop-a-second-iran-nuclear-deal\/\" title=\"Inside The House GOP Plan to Stop a Second Iran Nuclear Deal\">requires congressional approval<\/a>, a position supported by District Judge Richard Leon, who has repeatedly blocked construction. This is common sense. Let\u2019s get it done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boebert also said she is \u201cworking\u201d on bill text that will ensure the ballroom is finished.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t believe congressional approval is required for the project, but if it\u2019ll keep activist judges on the sideline, so be it,\u201d she <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepBoebert\/status\/2048486725010194787\">posted<\/a> on X. \u201cMore to come this week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If passed, such a bill would seemingly end the legal saga over the 90,000-sqaure-foot ballroom.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been beset by a legal challenge from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which has argued that the project needs congressional approval.<\/p>\n<p>That argument has been shared by District Judge Richard Leon, a Bush appointee, who has repeatedly blocked construction.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Justice has for months countered that the ballroom is needed for national security reasons, as it will have a military bunker.
