DOJ officials say trump\u2019s management is now emphasizing the ballroom\u2019s security role, including that it will feature a military bunker, to avoid the need for future large gatherings beyond the White House perimeter.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter,Civil Division assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate demanded the National Trust dismiss the case by Monday at 9 a.m., or the DOJ would move to dissolve the injunction and dismiss the lawsuit. Your client should voluntarily dismiss this frivolous lawsuit today in light of last night\u2019s assassination attempt on President Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shumate gave the National Trust until 9 a.m. Monday to drop it, or face a move from the DOJ to \u201cdissolve the injunction and dismiss the case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter was reposted by acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who blasted the lawsuit as a \u201cpassing aesthetic gripe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis lawsuit is on behalf of a single person who walks in the vicinity of the White House once a month and expects to dislike the East Wing\u2019s new design,\u201d he <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DAGToddBlanche\/status\/2048488591144157219\">posted<\/a> on X. \u201cThe passing aesthetic gripe of a single person cannot possibly justify delaying the construction of a secure facility for the President to do his job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The request comes as top U.S. officials, including Blanche, believe the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/n-j-federal-judge-who-was-targeted-in-home-shooting-says-scotus-justice-sonia-sotomayor-was-also-targeted\/\" title=\"N.J. federal judge who was targeted in home shooting says SCOTUS ...
