Otherwise, there\u2019s no reason to meet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The development comes after the president first announced he was calling off the diplomatic trip on Saturday after Washington had been involved in peace talks with Iran seeking to end the conflict since around <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116278232362967212\">March\u00a021<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToo much time wasted on traveling, too much work!\u201d Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. \u201cBesides which, there is tremendous infighting and confusion within their \u2018leadership.\u2019 Nobody knows who is in charge, including them. Also, we have all the cards; they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump told reporters that Washington received a new proposal from Iran shortly after he canceled the Pakistan trip, but offered few details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImmediately, when I canceled it, within 10 minutes, we got a new paper that was much better,\u201d Trump said, adding later that Iran has \u201coffered a lot but not enough<em>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The war was triggered on Feb. 28 when the United States and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran, citing concerns over the regime\u2019s nuclear program. The decision was made after the U.S. was told by Iranian leadership that it had enough enriched uranium to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/witkoff-iran-boasted-it-had-enough-fuel-for-11-nuclear-weapons\/\" title=\"Witkoff: ... boasted it had enough fuel for 11 nuclear weapons\">make 11 nuclear bombs<\/a> within 10 days, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/trump-steve-witkoff-iran-enriched-uranium-11-nuclear-bombs\/\">according to <\/a>Trump\u2019s team. <\/p>\n<p>Top tiers of Iran\u2019s leadership, including the Ayatollah <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ali-khamenei\">Ali Khamenei<\/a>, have been eliminated since the war started, while its navy and air force are in tatters, according to Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s blockade on all vessels <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/defense\/4526916\/why-trump-ordered-blockade-strait-hormuz-iran\/\">entering or departing Iranian\u00a0ports<\/a> has further damaged the regime, as it means the country will soon run out of storage space for the oil it is producing and cannot export due to the blockade.<\/p>\n<p>Trump suggested Sunday that Iran\u2019s oil infrastructure <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/defense\/4543667\/trump-iran-three-days-oil-explodes-blockade\/\">could explode<\/a> due to the backlog.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/4541133\/trump-iran-leader\/\">TRUMP: US DOESN\u2019T KNOW WHO \u2018THE LEADER IS IN IRAN\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you have to turn it off because you have no place to store this oil, either put it on ships or storage tanks, which they are just about finished with, a very bad thing is going to happen,\u201d the president said. \u201cWhat happens is that line explodes from within.
