Anna Paulina Luna has called for clemency for Gannon Ken Van Dyke, a Special Forces soldier charged with using classified information about the Maduro raid to place bets on its outcome. Van Dyke allegedly made about 13 bets on the Maduro operation on Polymarket, risking roughly $33,034 and earning more than $409,000. He faces charges including unlawful use of confidential government information for personal gain, theft of nonpublic government information, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and an unlawful monetary transaction.<\/p>\n<p>Luna argued that insider trading is widespread in Congress and said the Justice Department should either prosecute everyone who profits from what they know or prosecute no one. She posted on X that, although she doesn\u2019t approve of what Van Dyke did, he should be pardoned unless the DOJ plans to pursue insiders in Congress as well, calling the current outcome skewed justice.
