Adam Schiff of California &mdash; while distancing himself from his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mccarthy-completely-annihilates-reporter-questioning-decision-remove-schiff-swalwell-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">former buddy Eric Swalwell<\/a> &mdash; is probably a bit grateful that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-drivers-race-to-grab-cash-that-fell-out-of-armored-truck-on-california-freeway\/\" title=\"WATCH: Drivers Race to Grab Cash that Fell Out of Armored Truck on California Freeway\">potential criminal charges<\/a> from a growing throng of women are distracting people from his own unforced error. &ldquo;There, by the grace of God, goes someone else,&rdquo; one can hear Schiff saying.<\/p>\n<p>So, in case you&rsquo;re catching up, Schiff has been responding vociferously to stories in the media that President Donald Trump plans to pardon members of his administration as he leaves office because the Democrats have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/impotent-jeffries-threatens-noem-dhs-becomes-speaker-says-hauled-congress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made it clear they want legal scalps<\/a>. And, given what they did to Trump, we know they mean it.<\/p>\n<p>How true these stories are and what the pardons will cover is kind of amorphous at this point, and Trump himself has provided little light on that. But Schiff is a man who makes hay when the sun shines, even when he gets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-obama-humiliation-ensues-bill-maher-lays-trap-clueless-adam-schiff-jumps-right\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">some serious sunburn doing it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Step one in creating a culture of corruption and lawlessness? How about that. And that was on Jan. 20, 2025. In 2020, when there was speculation that Trump would preemptively pardon his family before leaving office, Swalwell again jumped into the fray, back when Joy Reid had an MSNBC show, saying that a preemptive pardon was tantamount to guilt!<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Have you ever heard of somebody getting a preemptive pardon who was innocent of all crime?&rdquo; Reid asked. This is the nature of those the president has surrounded himself with, including his family, and &hellip; it&rsquo;s been essentially a den of thieves environment. And I think the president views it as his way of trying to protect those who have protected him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>This was also before President Joe Biden pardoned his own son on gun and tax evasion convictions, it&rsquo;s worth noting. How &rsquo;bout that.<\/p>\n<p>The reason this was necessary, of course, was that the Jan. 6 kangaroo committee was a Democrat-run sham that used Congress as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/x-expands-efforts-to-combat-election-misinformation-ahead-of-2024\/\" title=\"X intensifies fight against election misinformation for 2024.\">paid political advertisement<\/a>. What&rsquo;s hilarious is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/schiff-pardon-useless-new-claims-fbi-docs-knew-breaking-law-thought-lawmaker-let-get-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/waiting-for-biden-and-kjp-to-answer-questions-about-hunters-pardon-youll-be-waiting-a-while\/\" title=\"Waiting for Biden and KJP to Answer Questions About Hunter&#039;s ...? You&#039;ll Be Waiting a While\">pardon wasn&#038;rsquo<\/a>;t even enough for Schiff<\/a>, who may still face issues due to his close ties with Swalwell; a whistleblower came to the FBI and said the two Russiagate hoaxers planned to hide behind the Speech or Debate Clause of the Constitution to air dubious, classified parts of the Russiagate hoax without confirmation, parts that turned out to be false.<\/p>\n<p>At least this didn&rsquo;t all involve sex abuse victims and prostitutes, however. So there is that. Dire, yes, but not Swalwell dire.
