Gates has been asked to appear for an interview on june 10, though it\u2019s not clear whether he has agreed or whether the committee would issue a subpoena if he declines. Transcribed interviews are conducted behind closed doors and allow investigators to gather detailed testimony for potential public hearings or reports.<\/p>\n<p>Other individuals who have been called for interviews include Ted Waitt, a former associate of Epstein\u2019s, and also Ghislaine Maxwell associates, Howard Lutnick, a prison guard who worked around Epstein (tova noel), and former Epstein aide Lesley Groff.
