Just watch Praise be to Allah.&rsquo; So obviously, you&rsquo;re mocking the religion of Iran. Okay, if you seek a religious war, that&rsquo;s a good idea. But by the way, no decent person mocks other people&rsquo;s religions.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;On every level, it is vile, on every level,&rdquo; Carlson said of Trump&rsquo;s pledge to attack Iran&rsquo;s infrastructure. &ldquo;It begins with a promise to use the U.S. military, our military, to destroy civilian infrastructure in another country, which is to say to commit a war crime, a moral crime, against the people of the country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Former Rep. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/marjorie-taylor-greene\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"776\">Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a>, a once prominent ally of Trump&rsquo;s, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/entertainment\/4516682\/greene-trump-christian-easter-strait-hormuz\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"4516682\">similarly decried Trump<\/a> over his post and the war itself, saying <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FmrRepMTG\/status\/2040789438494585175?s=20\">in a post to X<\/a> that &ldquo;Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most,&rdquo; Greene wrote. &ldquo;This is not making America great again, this is evil.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The former Georgia representative went further on Tuesday after Trump threatened that unless Iran agreed to a deal with the U.S., a &ldquo;whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FmrRepMTG\/status\/2041499550012084690?s=20\">a post including a screenshot <\/a>of Trump&rsquo;s statement, Greene called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked and wrote, &ldquo;Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Conservative influencer Candace Owens, who has at times split from the MAGA base, echoed Green.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The 25th amendment needs to be invoked,&rdquo; Owens said in a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RealCandaceO\/status\/2041520090038882448?s=20\">post on X<\/a>. &ldquo;He is a genocidal lunatic. Our Congress and military need to intervene. We are beyond madness.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/25th-amendment\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"3219\">25th Amendment<\/a> establishes the rules of presidential succession, including in the event of an involuntary removal of a sitting president.&nbsp;It also lays out the mechanism by which the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can declare a president unfit to continue serving as commander in chief.<\/p>\n<p>Unease among MAGA-aligned conservatives <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/4508577\/cpac-youth-activist-iran-war\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/4508577\/cpac-youth-activist-iran-war\/\">has been percolating<\/a> since the start of the war in February. Podcaster <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-rogan\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"315\">Joe Rogan<\/a>, who endorsed Trump in 2024, expressed shock last week that the U.S. launched strikes against Iran at all.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m confused,&rdquo; Rogan said in an <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wRJ2N8qBPs0\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wRJ2N8qBPs0\">episode of his podcast<\/a> released on April 2. &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t believe we went to this war. When we started bombing Iran, I was like, &lsquo;This can&rsquo;t be true.&#8217;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Rogan has previously said that supporters of the president&rsquo;s pledge for no more wars feel betrayed by the war in Iran, &ldquo;Well, it just seems so insane, based on what he ran on. I mean, this is why a lot of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-mask-nazis-are-striking-back-at-the-cochrane-study\/\" title=\"The Mask Nazis Are Striking Back at the Cochrane Study\">people feel betrayed<\/a>, right?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Even some of the president&rsquo;s allies in Congress are unsure of his plans to attack Iran&rsquo;s infrastructure. Sen. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ron-johnson\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"2760\">Ron Johnson<\/a> (R-WI) told the &ldquo;John Solomon Reports&rdquo; podcast, &ldquo;I am hoping and praying that President Trump is &mdash; this really is bluster.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I do not want to see us start blowing up civilian infrastructure,&rdquo; Johnson said. &ldquo;I do not want to see that we are not at war with the Iranian people.
