After both sides received the proposed peace plan,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/china\/iran-us-receive-plan-end-hostilities-immediate-ceasefire-source-says-2026-04-06\/\"><em>Reuters<\/em><\/a>  reported &mdash; before Iran&rsquo;s rejection &mdash; that the proposal could come into play as early as Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They&rsquo;ve made a proposal, and it&rsquo;s a significant proposal. It&rsquo;s a significant step. It&rsquo;s not good enough.
