(Photo by Leon Neal\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 4:30 PM PT \u2013 Friday, March 19, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Regulatory agencies in the EU and Britain on Thursday confirmed that AstraZeneca\u2019s COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective.<\/p>\n<p>This followed reports of rare brain blood clots linked to AstraZeneca\u2019s vaccine, which prompted more than a dozen countries to suspend inoculations. On Thursday, the European Medicines Agency issued its conclusion after an investigation into the claims. (Photo by Christopher Furlong \u2013 WPA Pool \/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe Oxford jab is safe and the Pfizer jab is safe,\u201d Johnson stated. \u201cThe thing that isn\u2019t safe is catching COVID, which is why it\u2019s so important that we all get our jabs as soon as our turn comes, and as it happens, I\u2019m getting mine tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Germany, Italy, France and Spain, along with a host of other European countries, said they will resume the use of AstraZeneca\u2019s coronavirus vaccine.
