She is seeking a presidential pardon from Donald Trump and, according to Politico, has suggested she would testify if Trump ends her sentence, while denying any wrongdoing by Trump or Bill clinton in their associations with Epstein. Shah added that Maxwell\u2019s prison experience seems very different from others and that she had limited interactions with Maxwell. Following her release, she gave an exclusive interview with <em>People<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Shah said when Epstein&rsquo;s victims appeared on television sharing their experiences, Maxwell showed &ldquo;complete disregard.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is when they are pouring their hearts out in front of Congress and for the files to be released and stuff,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;To see that kind of behavior [from her] when there are real victims that you&rsquo;re seeing and what they&rsquo;ve gone through.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To be so dismissive of that just didn&rsquo;t sit with me the right way.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was transferred to the minimum-security prison in August 2025, days after sitting down with one of the highest-ranking members of the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/department-of-justice\/\">Justice Department<\/a>, Deputy Attorney General <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/4506297\/trump-officials-stoke-concerns-ice-polling-centers-dhs-denials\/\">Todd Blanche<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Months later, the reason for the move still remains unclear, even when pressed by reporters, as convicted sex offenders are not normally eligible for a minimum security prison.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prior to being moved to the minimum-security prison, Maxwell had been serving out her 20-year sentence in a low-security prison in Tallahassee, Florida. Low-security prisons are more restrictive than minimum-security centers.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell is also seeking a pardon from President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\">Donald Trump<\/a>, according to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2026\/03\/13\/ghislaine-maxwell-epstein-case-00829078\"><em>Politico<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In February, she declined to answer questions from the House oversight committee, but suggested that if Trump ended her sentence, she <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4451293\/ghislaine-maxwell-clemency-trump-clinton-innocent\/\">would be willing to testify<\/a> that neither Trump nor former President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Bill-Clinton\/\">Bill Clinton<\/a> committed any wrongdoing in their relationships with Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>Shah shared that she and Holmes had &ldquo;limited&rdquo; interactions with Maxwell, noting that the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >convicted sex offender&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s &ldquo;experience&rdquo; in the prison is very different from everyone else&rsquo;s.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/4450852\/ghislaine-maxwell-pleads-fifth-demands-clemency-jeffrey-epstein-investigation\/\"><strong>GHISLAINE MAXWELL PLEADS FIFTH AND DEMANDS CLEMENCY IN JEFFREY EPSTEIN INVESTIGATION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She is treated very differently there,&rdquo; Shah said. &ldquo;You know, I didn&rsquo;t have a lot of interactions with her.
