Neither of her daughters were among the victims, though her senior has a best friend who is a cousin to two victims, ages 13 and 14.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;So as a parent, it was very alarming to learn that my daughters had friends who were victimized by this creep,&rdquo; Langton told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> Wednesday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fairfax County Public Schools is seen, March 4, 2019, in Merrifield, Va. (AP Photo\/Matthew Barakat, File)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Langton shared testimony from her daughter&rsquo;s best friend, who said three girls were inappropriately touched on Feb. 25, and they &ldquo;immediately&rdquo; told their teacher, who called the school resource officer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Langton said Fairfax High School has &ldquo;an <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >extremely sophisticated camera system&#038;rdquo<\/a>; that allows individual students to be followed throughout the day. This allowed the footage to be reviewed over three days and find the suspect who had groped the alleged victims, leading to the suspect&rsquo;s arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The mother said the school and its principal, Dr. Georgina Aye, &ldquo;did everything right&rdquo; in handling this situation. She said she doesn&rsquo;t say this &ldquo;lightly&rdquo; since she rose to national attention <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/346375\/virginia-mother-who-exposed-pornographic-books-barred-from-high-school-library\/\">for her feud with Fairfax County Public Schools in 2021<\/a>, a major focal point in that year&rsquo;s Virginia gubernatorial election.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Langton detailed a Supreme Court case from 1982 called <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/457\/202\/\"><em>Plyler v. Doe<\/em><\/a>, which ruled that a state cannot prevent children of undocumented immigrants from attending public school &ldquo;unless it furthers some substantial goal of the State.&rdquo; She said this allows these children to stay on school campuses until age 22, which is &ldquo;a public safety issue&rdquo; that needs to be &ldquo;rectified.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You can&rsquo;t have adult males, whether they&rsquo;re legals or illegals, going to school alongside 13- and 14-year-old girls,&rdquo; Langton said. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a recipe for disaster.
