Much of ICE has already been funded, it&rsquo;s worth noting, thanks to last year&rsquo;s &ldquo;Big Beautiful Bill.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/steve-bannon-nukes-pbss-credibility-nsfw-salvo-right-pbs-scumbags\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Bannon<\/a> thinks that there might be more to deployment of ICE to the airports than meets the eye, calling it a &ldquo;test run&rdquo; for the midterms on his &ldquo;War Room&rdquo; podcast.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We can use what&rsquo;s happening with these ICE [officers] helping out at the airports, we can use this as a test run, as a test case to really perfect ICE&rsquo;s involvement in the 2026 midterm elections, sir?&rdquo; he asked lawyer Mike Davis of the Article III Project during an episode Monday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/transportation\/5797390-bannon-ice-airports-2026-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Yeah, I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places, because if you&rsquo;re an illegal alien you can&rsquo;t vote, right? Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-deploy-ice-airports-dems-dont-get-act-together-amid-shutdown-aimed-protecting-illegals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deployed ICE to the airports<\/a> and suddenly, they&rsquo;re at the negotiating table.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Democrats have refused to enact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/think-twice-talking-filibuster-pass-save-america-act-might-sound-nice-really-want-schumer-control-months\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SAVE America Act<\/a>, which would require voter ID and proof of citizenship at the polls. In fact, they want as little oversight of the American electoral system as possible, period.<\/p>\n<p>At the very least, this should bring them to the negotiating table. If not, we&rsquo;ve already seen that this tactic works wonders.
