Sen. Adam Schiff and Rep. Dave Min argued that Bondi\u2019s influence may have helped his <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >clients obtain favorable outcomes<\/a> and questioned whether Bondi properly recused herself from related matters. They sent a letter calling for an inquiry to determine if DOJ officials, including Bondi, maintained independence and avoided improper interference or dismissal of cases. Last year, he attracted notice for campaigning to become the next president of the&nbsp;elite D.C.&nbsp;Bar Association, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3435727\/brad-bondi-loses-bid-lead-dc-bar-association\/\">but lost the bid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff and Min claimed that several defendants Brad Bondi represented &#8288;had their criminal cases delayed unnecessarily or dropped, and inferred that it was due to his sister&rsquo;s failure to recuse herself from involvement.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They noted a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/bradbondi_with-the-conclusion-of-2025-i-find-myself-activity-7413726191137734656-Xv3c?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop&amp;rcm=ACoAAC8r-jABs-HRjR-DRD3_IlfcQSTrmmC1aDg\">LinkedIn post<\/a> Brad Bondi made in January, which referenced several &ldquo;victories&rdquo; he and his team secured last year, including a dismissal of Securities and Exchange Commission charges against Nikola founder Trevor Milton, who was pardoned by President Donald Trump in 2025 after being convicted of fraud.
