Over the weekend, the president said he would not sign legislation unless Congress passes the SAVE America Act, a proposal that would require voters to present <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/citizenship\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"1453\">proof of citizenship<\/a> to vote in federal elections.
