DO NOT FAIL!!!&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But Trump&rsquo;s threat regarding legislation might not bring the government to a screeching halt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That is because, according to Article I, Section 7 of the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/constitution\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"424\">Constitution<\/a>, if Trump does not sign or veto formalized, or &ldquo;enrolled,&rdquo; bills that are transmitted from Congress to the White House within 10 days, they automatically become law unless Congress is adjourned.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >10-day period starts<\/a> at midnight on the day that particular legislation is presented to the president, excluding Sundays.<\/p>\n<p>If Trump were to veto the bill, the measure would be returned to the congressional chamber that introduced it. That chamber &mdash; either the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/house\/\" type=\"category\" id=\"1250\">House<\/a> or the Senate &mdash; can override the legislation with a two<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tennessee-historical-commission-votes-to-move-bust-of-kkk-leader-from-state-capitol-to-museum\/\" title=\"Tennessee Historical Commission ...s To Move Bust Of KKK Leader From State Capitol To Museum\">-thirds majority vote<\/a>.
