It argues that many Democrats who have criticized the Trump governance’s handling of Epstein files have benefited from Hoffman’s donations, raising questions about potential conflicts of interest.

– Hoffman has donated tens of millions to Democratic causes and to politicians who have been vocal about Epstein-related investigations, including Adam Schiff, Ro Khanna, and Hakeem Jeffries. Federal data show Khanna receiving about $35,600 from Hoffman since 2011.

– Newly released DOJ records suggest Hoffman maintained contact with Epstein years after he claimed their relationship ended, including trips to Epstein’s island in 2014 with Joi Ito of the MIT Media Lab and other private interactions and gifts.

– Khanna, Ossoff, Schiff, and Jeffries publicly criticized aspects of the Epstein case and DOJ handling, while some did not respond to requests about Hoffman’s contributions. The piece notes that Khanna at times made statements that the article views as inaccurate or incomplete regarding Epstein’s associates.

– The report also highlights Hoffman’s ongoing ties to tech and business circles (e.g., his board role at Microsoft) and mentions criticisms from groups like the National Legal and Policy Center calling for his removal over Epstein ties.

– Hoffman has since acknowledged broader meetings with Epstein in 2016 and 2018 that he had previously downplayed, expressing regret for how his actions may have affected Epstein’s victims and calling for full openness.

– The article frames these disclosures as part of a broader scrutiny of how fundraising and donor relationships interact with public accountability and policy discussions around Epstein’s case.

the <a href="https://www.conservativenewsdaily.net/breaking-news/report-jewish-organization-is-offering-record-financial-support-to-help-trump-defeat-biden/" title="Headline: Jewish Group Provides Unprecedented Financial Aid to Support ... Hoffman has given tens of millions to Democratic causes and to campaigns for Democrats who have criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein matter, including Sen. Adam Schiff, Rep. Ro Khanna, and House Speaker-designate Hakeem Jeffries.

– DOJ releases show Hoffman kept in touch with Epstein for years after he said their contact ended. Khanna, who co-sponsored the bill that forced the files to be released, has received $35,600 from Hoffman since 2011, including $7,000 in June 2025, per FEC data. Khanna has said that anyone who visited Epstein’s island should be investigated under oath, but he has not directly acknowledged Hoffman’s visit. Some of Khanna’s claims about Epstein have been criticized as inaccurate; for example, he described six wealthy, powerful men as being hidden by the DOJ, though four of those men had no known connection to Epstein, according to The Guardian.

– Jeffries has also benefited from Hoffman’s donations. The Jeffries Victory Fund raised $322,100 in 2025, and Jeffries’ congressional campaign has received $13,600 since 2023. A consulting firm arranged Epstein’s connection to a fundraising dinner to “get to know” Jeffries, describing him as a rising star and a strong supporter of Obama.

– Schiff’s campaign has received $16,900 from Hoffman since 2023, and Democratic Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff has taken $10,864 from Hoffman over five years. Ossoff criticized the Trump administration as part of Epstein-related rhetoric and used the phrase “Epstein class” in his political messaging.

– Hoffman says he never engaged with Epstein beyond fundraising for MIT, where he served on the Media Lab Advisory Council. He first met Epstein at MIT in 2013. New DOJ material shows Hoffman traveled to Epstein’s island in 2014 with Joi Ito and planned to stay at Epstein’s Manhattan home that week. Hoffman has said his concern began when Epstein invited him on a trip to meet Putin to discuss Bitcoin, but he continued contact for years after declining that trip. He has acknowledged some additional meetings in 2016 and 2018. Hoffman sits on Microsoft’s board; the National Legal and Policy Center has urged his removal over Epstein ties. Trump once directed the DOJ to investigate Hoffman among others. Microsoft did not respond to requests for comment.

– The article also includes a note about the Daily Caller News Foundation’s licensing and publication practices.

If you’d like, I can shorten this further, tailor it for a specific audience, or paraphrase a particular section in more detail

https://www.westernjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Ben-Working-Feature-Image-2026-03-04T091701.977.jpg
[33651
69845,75338,75339,70303,75340
post-2577338","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-western-journal","tag-campaign-finance-2","tag-epstein-controversy-2","tag-media-hypocrisy-2","tag-political-analysis-2","tag-public-reaction-2
https://www.westernjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Ben-Working-Feature-Image-2026-03-04T091701.977.jpg
["GET
