She also said there are reports the FBI &ldquo;listened in&rdquo; on a phone call Wiles conducted with her lawyers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bedford concluded it&rsquo;s not entirely surprising &ldquo;in this day and age&rdquo; that this isn&rsquo;t discussed in the news more, but it is still &ldquo;shocking.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4481327\/doj-closes-autopen-investigation-biden-aides\/\"><strong>DOJ QUIETLY CLOSES AUTOPEN INVESTIGATION TARGETING BIDEN AND AIDES<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> obtained partially redacted emails that include internal FBI communications from Aug. 3, 2022, just five days before the agency&rsquo;s raid on Mar-a-Lago, suggesting the search was tethered to the timing of when Biden would be briefed about it.<\/p>\n<p>  The email communications <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4468114\/fbi-records-contradict-claims-biden-was-not-aware-of-mar-a-lago-raid\/\">appear to contradict the Biden administration&rsquo;s claim<\/a> that Biden had no prior knowledge of the search of Trump&rsquo;s property.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/4472743\/fbi-fires-agents-who-worked-on-trump-classified-document-investigation-ap-sources-say\/\">The FBI fired additional agents in February<\/a> who had worked on an investigation into Trump, specifically those who helped investigate Trump&rsquo;s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2026-02-27\/trump-s-2022-mar-a-lago-search-resisted-by-fbi-new-emails-show\">unlawful<\/a> retention of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, for which he was later <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/1631438\/donald-trump-indicted-six-of-the-most-shocking-details-revealed-in-classified-documents-investigation\/\">indicted by the then-DOJ<\/a>.
