That&rsquo;s California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom.<\/p>\n<p>Newsom said in an interview this week on CNN that it&rsquo;s a substantial liability for his party that most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harris-can-pick-and-choose-issues-tell-voters-what-they-want-to-hear-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Harris can \u2018pick and choose\u2019 issues, tell voters \u2018what they want to hear\u2019 - Washington Examiner\">voters don&#038;rsquo<\/a>;t share its enthusiasm for transgendering children and fixation on race. You don&rsquo;t say.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1143440574\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s no doubt that the Democratic Party needs to be, dare I say, more culturally normal,&rdquo; he said, speaking in his typical vocal fry. &ldquo;I believe that; less prone to spending disproportionate amount of time on pronouns, identity politics. More focused on tabletop issues. Things that really matter.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s a pleasant thought, but there&rsquo;s a saying in politics that if you&rsquo;re explaining, you&rsquo;re losing. If only they could present as &ldquo;more culturally normal&rdquo; on transgenderism, anti-white racism, and affirmative action for obscenely unqualified women, they could convince the public that their policies are the right way to go.<\/p>\n<p>Someone should ask Newsom to what degree it&rsquo;s okay to champion the manipulation of a child&rsquo;s natural biology; to skirt merit in favor of &ldquo;equity&rdquo;; and to ignore rampant drug use and crime because white Democrats insist that&rsquo;s the best way to help black people. If his party is going to be &ldquo;more culturally normal,&rdquo; how much more? What&rsquo;s the acceptable amount of repulsive?<\/p>\n<p>Democrat leaders like Newsom have either not thought this through, or they&rsquo;re simply buying time to figure out how to win their next election by not completely shutting down their perverted, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/08\/democrats-arent-insane-or-unhinged-theyre-deliberately-and-methodically-anti-american\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">anti-American base of voters<\/a> who want anything but &ldquo;more culturally normal.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>What they&rsquo;re essentially saying is they want <em>less<\/em> crime, <em>less<\/em> transing of children, and <em>less<\/em> illegal aliens. But not <em>none<\/em> of those things! Just a &ldquo;more culturally normal&rdquo; level of those things. Do you want your child just a little trans? Do you want to be just a little murdered? Do you want a little less welfare for foreigners who break into your country?<\/p>\n<p>They can&rsquo;t be &ldquo;more culturally normal.&rdquo; They&rsquo;re either normal or they&rsquo;re not.
