Flight logs show he traveled on Epstein&rsquo;s private jet at least four times in 2002 and 2003, a claim confirmed by one of his representatives, Angel Urena, who also <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/angelurena\/status\/1148357927625023490\">said<\/a> the former president &ldquo;knows nothing about the terrible crimes Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some time ago.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.house.gov\/meetings\/GO\/GO00\/20260121\/118877\/BILLS-119HResXih.pdf\">committee report<\/a> submitted by Comer earlier this year also referenced a 2014 dinner Bill Clinton attended with Maxwell, years after public reporting about her alleged involvement in Epstein&rsquo;s abuse. The former president has said his travel was tied to charitable work, and the same report referenced a $25,000 donation the Clinton Foundation received in 2006 from a &ldquo;charity organization&rdquo; formerly run by Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>The former secretary of state and first lady was subpoenaed in part <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/committee-report\/119th-congress\/house-report\/469\/1\">over her hiring of Maxwell&rsquo;s nephew<\/a> during her 2008 campaign and later at the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/state-department\/\">State Department<\/a>. Lawmakers are also expected to question her about a recent BBC interview in which she said the couple had &ldquo;no links&rdquo; to Epstein and that she did not recall ever meeting him, according to the <em>Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Committee Republicans have signaled interest in Maxwell&rsquo;s reported involvement in the early days of the Clinton Global Initiative, which launched in 2004. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ghislaine-maxwell\/\">Maxwell<\/a>, who is serving a 20-year sentence following her 2021 conviction on sex trafficking charges, participated in early CGI events, according to materials released in the DOJ&rsquo;s Epstein document dump.<\/p>\n<p>The Clintons were originally scheduled to testify last year, but after multiple postponements and missed appearances, the committee voted to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/4444132\/bill-hillary-clinton-face-ticking-clock-congressional-contempt-vote\/\">recommend holding them in contempt<\/a> of Congress. They later agreed to the February depositions. Bill Clinton recently wrote on X that he would not be &ldquo;a prop in a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >closed-door kangaroo court<\/a>&rdquo; but said he had agreed to appear.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I will not sit idly as they use me as a prop in a closed-door kangaroo court by a Republican Party running scared. Their testimony will follow that of retail magnate <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4461762\/les-wexner-deposition-conned-in-epstein-relationship-did-nothing-wrong\/\">Les Wexner<\/a>, who denied knowledge of Epstein&rsquo;s crimes at the time he maintained business relationships with Epstein, and Maxwell, who <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/4450852\/ghislaine-maxwell-pleads-fifth-demands-clemency-jeffrey-epstein-investigation\/\">invoked her Fifth Amendment<\/a> rights during a virtual deposition.<\/p>\n<p>The committee&rsquo;s slate of depositions has so far failed to yield many new details, aside from shedding a little more light on Epstein and Maxwell&rsquo;s network of high-profile and elite figures.<\/p>\n<p>While the United Kingdom <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/bill-gates\/\">has recently been roiled in scandals<\/a> following the arrests of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, and former ambassador Peter Mandelson, allegations of close associations between Epstein and powerful figures in the U.S. have only prompted professional consequences, such as the resignation of Kathryn Ruemmler from Goldman Sachs as its chief legal officer, and that of Richard Axel, who stepped down from his role as co-director of the neuroscience institute at Columbia University.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Microsoft co-founder&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/bill-gates\/\">Bill Gates<\/a>&nbsp;reportedly<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/4471425\/bill-gates-apologizes-foundation-staff-jeffrey-epstein-relationship\/\">&nbsp;apologized<\/a>&nbsp;to the staff of his charitable organization this week for his ties to Epstein, and he acknowledged having affairs with two Russian women, the details of which were in the Epstein files.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4471621\/house-oversight-delays-depositions-epstein-associates-march\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"4471621\">HOUSE OVERSIGHT DELAYS DEPOSITIONS FOR PAIR OF EPSTEIN ASSOCIATES UNTIL MARCH <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although additional associates of Epstein are still scheduled to testify in March, the Clintons&rsquo;
