Epstein told staffers, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/bill-gates-admits-affairs-with-russian-women-as-he-apologizes-to-foundation-staff-over-epstein-ties-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mediaite<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gates even broached the touchy subject of his divorced ex-wife, though he was largely complimentary of her ability to sense that something was amiss with Epstein &mdash; which Melinda French Gates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bill-gates-ex-wife-speaks-meetings-evil-jeffrey-epstein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has been very vocal about<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To give her credit, she was always kind of skeptical about the Epstein thing,&rdquo; Gates said.<\/p>\n<p>Of note, an unearthed  from Epstein had previously claimed that Gates was trying to conceal the fact he had contracted a sexually transmitted disease from one of the &ldquo;Russian girls&rdquo; from his then-wife.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this confluence of factors, Gates did stress to his staffers that he was not involved in anything illegal.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I did nothing illicit.
