I tied him up outside the day care where there&rsquo;s a window, where everyone can see him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>She was only gone a few minutes, Franzblau said.<\/p>\n<p>And when she got back out, she was distraught to find that Charlie was nowhere in sight.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Surveillance footage later showed someone in a dark hoodie unleashing Charlie and taking him away from the area,&rdquo; People magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/chicago-community-reunite-stolen-dog-and-with-family-11912208\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The woman in the footage was asking passersby, &ldquo;Whose dog is this? Whose dog is this?&rdquo; Franzblau told reporters. &ldquo;She was kind to him, but he was shaking.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Franzblau and her husband, Sean Franzblau, broadcast a cry for help online.
