Sponsors of the bill <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/sourcenm.com\/2026\/02\/16\/new-mexico-house-unanimously-enacts-epstein-truth-commission\/\">said the purpose is <\/a>to &ldquo;put the whole story together.&rdquo;&nbsp;The ranch is mentioned thousands of times in the files released by the DOJ.<\/p>\n<p>The renewed investigation is the latest fallout after the release of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-judge-grants-gop-lawmaker-standing-to-sue-biden-administration-over-unrwa-funding-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Texas judge grants GOP lawmaker standing to sue Biden administration over UNRWA funding - Washington Examiner\">federal government&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/epstein-files\/\">files on Epstein<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also on Thursday, former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested in the United Kingdom for his close relationship with Epstein, and retail magnate Les Wexner testified before the House oversight committee about his association with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/3-times-the-media-buried-stories-that-couldve-brought-down-prominent-liberals\/\" title=\"3 Times The Media Buried Stories That Could\u2019ve Brought Down Prominent Liberals\">late financier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During Wexner&rsquo;s hourslong testimony, he insisted that he and Epstein were not friends and claimed Epstein stole millions of dollars from his family. Additionally, Wexner said that, to his knowledge, Epstein and President<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\"> Donald Trump<\/a> were not friends.<\/p>\n<p>Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are scheduled to appear before the same committee next week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Epstein purchased the Zorro Ranch in 1993 from former New Mexico Gov.
