an NBC representative told Outkick.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We streamed an international feed with non-NBCUniversal commentators who misgendered Olympian Elis Lundholm. We apologize to Elis and our viewers, and we have removed the replay of that feed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Some who identify as LGBT were not pleased with the purported misstep.<\/p>\n<p>OutSports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outsports.com\/2026\/2\/10\/24128176\/elis-lundholm-nbc-trans-athlete-winter-olympics-skiing-commentators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">complained<\/a> that &ldquo;NBC Sports commentators misgendered the first out trans athlete at the Winter Olympics, skier Elis Lundholm.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;How did this happen?&rdquo; they lamented.<\/p>\n<p>According to the outlet, &ldquo;she&rdquo; was used several times in reference to Lundholm.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Getting off course here though&hellip; oh she just skids out of that gate.
