Prejean Boller responded that Patrick lacked the power to remove her and suggested Trump would need to intervene. The hearing at the Museum of the Bible focused on Zionism, antisemitism, and Israel; she defended Candace Owens, pressed Jewish students about antisemitic experiences, and claimed to listen to Owens daily. Her remarks drew boos and calls for resignation from attendees. The Washington Examiner later reported that the White House Religious Liberty Commission dropped Prejean Boller after the antisemitism hearing, potentially placing Trump in a difficult position within his base. Gov. You did not appoint me to the Commission, and you lack authority to remove me from it,&rdquo; Prejean Boller said. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is a gross overstepping of your role and leads me to believe you are acting in alignment with a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/zionism\/\">Zionist<\/a> political framework that hijacked the hearing, rather than in defense of <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/religious-freedom\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-calls-new-yorks-covid-19-restrictions-discriminatory-sides-with-religious-leaders\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Calls New York\u2019s COVID-19 Restrictions \u2018Discriminatory,\u2019 Sides With Religious Leaders\">religious liberty<\/a><\/a>. Just as I cannot remove you, you cannot remove me,&rdquo; she added.<\/p>\n<p>After telling Patrick to reread Trump&rsquo;s executive order, Prejean Boller said it was &ldquo;clear your actions reflect a Zionist political agenda, not the President&rsquo;s, not the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/constitution\/\">U.S. Constitution&rsquo;s<\/a>, and not the purpose of this Commission.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I refuse to bend the knee to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/israel\/\">Israel<\/a>. I am no slave to a foreign nation, but to Christ our King,&rdquo; she concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The crisis on the commission erupted on Monday, when Prejean Boller began making heated inquiries regarding Zionism, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/antisemitism\/\">antisemitism<\/a>, and Israel. She openly defended influencer Candace Owens, who has increasingly targeted Israel and many Jewish people as the subject of conspiracy theories, including that many follow a &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/iamBrianBJ\/status\/1823875223885684818\">pedophile-centric religion<\/a> that believes in demons &hellip; [and] child sacrifice.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>When asked, Prejean Boller said she listens to Owens daily and doesn&rsquo;t believe anything she&rsquo;s said is antisemitic.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the hearing, Boller drew flak for pressing Jewish students over their claims of antisemitic experiences after the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/october-7\/\">Oct. 7, 2023<\/a>, attack on Israel, and questioned several Jewish people over whether they supported Israel. She received audible boos from the crowd gathered at the Museum of the Bible in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Calls immediately grew for Prejean Boller to resign, which she rejected.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/4454833\/white-house-religious-liberty-commission-drops-carrie-prejean-boller-after-antisemitism-hearing\/\">WHITE HOUSE RELIGIOUS LIBERTY COMMISSION DROPS CARRIE PREJEAN BOLLER AFTER ACCUSING HER OF HIJACKING ANTISEMITISM HEARING<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Her move now puts Trump in an awkward position, possibly forcing him to intervene in a clash between the Zionist and anti-Zionist parts of his base.<\/p>\n<p>Prejean Boller&rsquo;s relationship with Trump goes back nearly two decades, when she was a beauty pageant contestant.
