The three presidents with the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/interactives\/507569\/presidential-job-approval-center.aspx\">highest peak approval ratings<\/a> according to Gallup have been Truman and both Bushes.<\/p>\n<p>Truman hit 87% after he first took office in June 1945, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/george-h-w-bush\/\">George H.W. Bush<\/a> hit 89% in early March 1991 after Operation Desert Storm, and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/george-w-bush\/\">George W.
