he said in a CNN interview Sunday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Oz said CMS has &ldquo;advocated for measles vaccination all along,&rdquo; and added that Health and Human Services Secretary <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/robert-f-kennedy-jr\/\">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> also supports getting vaccinated against the disease.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When HHS released the new schedule for childhood vaccination, the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/4406894\/hhs-curtails-childhood-vaccination-schedule\/\">measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine was included <\/a>as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-relaxes-covid-safeguards-for-migrants-cracks-down-on-agents\/\" title=\"Biden Relaxes COVID Safeguards for Migrants, Cracks Down on Agents\">recommended vaccine<\/a> for children ages 4 through 6.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Measles is a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >highly contagious viral disease<\/a> that spreads through respiratory droplets and can linger in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves a space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/cdc\/\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a> had reported that as of Feb. 5, there were <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/measles\/data-research\/index.html\">733 confirmed cases of measles<\/a> reported in the United States, with 92% of cases associated with outbreaks.
