Musk responded one day later: &ldquo;Probably just Talulah and me. What day\/night will be the wildest party on your island?&rdquo; The billionaire was in a romantic relationship with actress Talulah Riley at the time.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2013, Musk told Epstein that he wouldn&rsquo;t be able to visit Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands because &ldquo;logistics won&rsquo;t work this time around.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In March of that year, Musk said he wouldn&rsquo;t be able to visit soon due to his demanding role as Tesla CEO. When Epstein asked if he could take a break in April, Musk explained that the visit &ldquo;depends on how well Q1 goes&rdquo; and that he hadn&rsquo;t been able to get much sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to the end of December 2013, Musk tried to coordinate another visit for the following month, but couldn&rsquo;t finalize travel plans for it either due to Epstein&rsquo;s schedule.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Bad news- Unfortunately, my schedule will keep me in New York. I was really looking forward to finally spending some time together with just fun as the agenda. so i am very disappointed. Hopefully we can schedule another time in the near future,&rdquo; Epstein wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Musk simply replied, &ldquo;No problem.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Based on the private correspondence, it doesn&rsquo;t appear Musk ever made it to Epstein&rsquo;s island. He has said as much in a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1972005867580281038\">September 2025 post<\/a> and a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2019\/07\/jeffrey-epstein-case-grows-more-grotesque\">2019 interview<\/a> with <em>Vanity Fair<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The emails were included in the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4440630\/doj-release-millions-new-jeffrey-epstein-documents-2000-videos\/\">Department of Justice&rsquo;s release<\/a> of more than 3.5 million pages of investigative material, 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images related to the convicted sex offender.
