SFCN president Andy Roth said the group was notified the post had been taken down and later deleted the organization\u2019s LinkedIn account, accusing the company of &#8220;woke censorship.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After SFCN requested review, LinkedIn restored the post and apologized, saying the removal was an error. A LinkedIn spokesperson pointed to the platform\u2019s appeals process and its policy against content that attacks or dehumanizes groups based on protected characteristics as the basis for the initial action.<\/p>\n<p>The article also highlights criticism of LinkedIn\u2019s co-founder Reid Hoffman, citing InfluenceWatch and other reports that allege his funding of left-leaning causes and past controversies, including reported ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The piece quotes Roth\u2019s comments condemning tech platforms and notes the article\u2019s author, Shawn Fleetwood of The Federalist.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The professional networking company LinkedIn removed a conservative organization&rsquo;s post that encouraged states to cooperate with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/soros-backed-philadelphia-da-considered-helping-non-citizens-accused-of-rape-murder-avoid-deportation-records-show\/\" title=\"Soros-Backed Philadelphia DA Considered Helping Non-Citizens Accused Of Rape, Murder Avoid Deportation, Records Show\">federal immigration authorities<\/a> on Wednesday, later saying it did so in &ldquo;error.&rdquo; The company initially claimed the post constituted &ldquo;hateful speech.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In its <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SFC_Network\/status\/2016239252225589547?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post<\/a> from earlier this week, the State Freedom Caucus Network (SCFN) underscored the &ldquo;essential&rdquo; work the Department of Homeland Security is doing in removing the millions of illegal aliens the Biden administration allowed into the United States. The group further noted the importance of states working alongside ICE and Customs and Border Protection officials to remove such individuals &mdash; <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >including unlawfully present criminals &#038;mdash<\/a>; from America&rsquo;s streets. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Every state must ensure collaboration with ICE and CBP to remove [these illegal aliens]. Our caucuses are on the frontlines leading their states to support [President Trump&rsquo;s] mission to keep Americans safe!&rdquo; the post read in part. <\/p>\n<p>SCFN President Andy Roth told The Federalist that his group received a notice from LinkedIn on Wednesday morning, informing them that the post had been removed. The company claimed in its notice that the post constituted so-called &ldquo;hateful speech,&rdquo; and therefore violated LinkedIn&rsquo;s &ldquo;Professional Community Policies.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our Trust and Safety team has removed [your post] from LinkedIn and only administrators of this page can access it,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SFC_Network\/status\/2016884795121320061?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn notice<\/a> reads. &ldquo;Repeatedly creating content that doesn&rsquo;t comply with our policies could lead to your LinkedIn account being restricted or your page being restricted.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Roth <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/andyroth\/status\/2016898695778705547?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> that he has deleted the SFCN&rsquo;s LinkedIn account due to the company&rsquo;s &ldquo;woke censorship.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Under the &ldquo;Do not be hateful&rdquo; section of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/legal\/professional-community-policies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Professional Community Policies<\/a>, LinkedIn stipulates that it does not permit &ldquo;content that attacks, denigrates, intimidates, dehumanizes, incites or threatens hatred, violence, prejudicial or discriminatory action against individuals or groups because of their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, or disability status.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>The company further prohibits so-called &ldquo;hate groups&rdquo; from using its platform, as well as the use of &ldquo;racial, religious, or other slurs that incite or promote hatred, or any other content intended to create division.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>When pressed on how the SFCN&rsquo;s post constitutes &ldquo;hateful speech&rdquo; and how it violates LinkedIn&rsquo;s content policies, LinkedIn spokeswoman Leonna Spilman told The Federalist that the post &ldquo;was removed in error,&rdquo; and that the company &ldquo;quickly corrected it.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>When subsequently asked about what LinkedIn is doing to ensure such &ldquo;errors&rdquo; don&rsquo;t happen again in the future, Spilman said, &ldquo;If an author believes their content was actioned incorrectly, the author has the ability to request a second review.&rdquo; She also linked to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/help\/linkedin\/answer\/a1335814\/request-a-second-review-of-removed-content?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">page<\/a> on LinkedIn&rsquo;s Help Center that allows account owners to make such a request. <\/p>\n<p>Roth confirmed to The Federalist that LinkedIn restored the post to SCFN&rsquo;s now-deleted account. The company&rsquo;s notice to the SCFN president reads in part, &ldquo;Initially, your post was removed for going against our policies. As part of our review, we now find that your post doesn&rsquo;t go against our policies and apologize for the mistake.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;LinkedIn just proved once again that their woke censorship machine is still running full throttle,&rdquo; Roth told The Federalist. &ldquo;Our states will keep fighting to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/linkedin-blames-error-after-censoring-pro-ice-post\/\" title=\"LinkedIn Blames &#039;Error&#039; After Censoring Pro-... ...\">expose leftist tech corporations<\/a> like LinkedIn for who they are, so that they respect freedom, not play hall monitor for the left.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s worth noting that LinkedIn was co-founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/reid-hoffman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reid Hoffman<\/a>, a leftist billionaire and major megadonor to the Democrat Party and left-wing causes. <\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/person\/reid-hoffman-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">InfluenceWatch<\/a>, &ldquo;In 2017, Hoffman launched a number of left-of-center organizations, investments, and fundraising efforts to oppose President Trump and the Republican Party.&rdquo; These efforts have included &ldquo;personally&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nlpc.org\/corporate-integrity-project\/reid-hoffman-funded-e-jean-carrolls-lawsuit-against-trump-but-wont-sue-elon-musk-himself\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bankroll[ing] E.
