Campaign filings show the DLGA moved $25,000 from r4 Technologies on Dec. 17, $150,000 tied to McKinsey &#038; Company and Archer Daniels Midland on Dec. 19, $145,000 from Google on Dec. 23, and $205,000 from Pfizer on Dec. 30. Those donors are federal contractors in some capacity, and federal regulations bar contractors from making contributions related to federal elections. The Examiner had reported earlier that the DLGA\u2019s federal account had accepted such donations while the commitee has also made meaningful federal expenditures (including more than $1 million aiding a House campaign). r4 Technologies told the paper its gift was intended for state\/local outreach and was mistakenly placed in the federal account. Over the years, the PAC has made <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/disbursements\/?data_type=processed&amp;committee_id=C00685719\">large-dollar donations<\/a> to political committees that spend on federal elections, such as Save Democracy PAC, Defending Democracy, and the Democratic Leadership Project PAC, as well as multiple congressional campaigns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More recently, the DLGA has <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/independent-expenditures\/?data_type=processed&amp;most_recent=true&amp;q_spender=C00685719&amp;is_notice=true\">spent well over $1 million<\/a> helping former New Jersey Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hollywood-liberals-dumping-massive-amounts-of-money-into-georgia-senate-runoffs\/\" title=\"Hollywood Liberals Dumping Massive Amounts Of Money Into Georgia Senate Runoffs\">federal campaign<\/a> to win a vacant House of Representatives seat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This type of federal spending poses a problem for the DLGA if it is accepting donations from federal contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Federal law <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/cfr\/text\/11\/115.2\">states <\/a>that it is &ldquo;unlawful for a Federal contractor&rdquo; to &ldquo;make, either directly or indirectly, any contribution or expenditure of money or other thing of value &hellip; to any political party, committee, or candidate for Federal office or to any person for any political purpose or use.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Per its 2025 end-of-year campaign finance filing, the DLGA moved the funds within days of the <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>contacting it for its initial story.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>first reached out to the DLGA on Dec. 15, 2025. Though the DLGA acknowledged receipt of the inquiry, it ultimately did not respond. What it did do, however, was begin moving money around.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 17, the committee moved $25,000 from r4 Technologies out of its federal account and into its nonfederal account. Days later, on Dec. 19, it shuffled $150,000 from McKinsey &amp; Company and Archer Daniels Midland around in the same way.
