Everyone should feel safe calling 911.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Trump dispatched Homan to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/minnesota\/\">Minnesota<\/a> on Monday to speak with Frey and Gov. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tim-walz\/\">Tim Walz<\/a> (D-MN) about the out-of-control situation in the state between local protesters and federal immigration enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>A day later, Homan said the meeting with state officials was &ldquo;productive.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We all agree that we need to support our law enforcement officers and get criminals off the streets,&rdquo; he <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RealTomHoman\/status\/2016291550356291921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2016291550356291921%7Ctwgr%5E4e1f712428af0940fbbfd58c56bf82bf6e3fe3fc%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonexaminer.com%2Fnews%2F4436432%2Fhoman-hails-productive-meeting-with-walz-and-frey%2F\">wrote<\/a>. &ldquo;While we don&rsquo;t agree on everything, these meetings were a productive starting point and I look forward to more conversations with key stakeholders in the days ahead. Minnesota has the largest Somali population in the country, a community that has recently come under fire after the discovery of a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Minnesota-fraud\/\">massive fraud ring<\/a> that stole taxpayer dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Homan is set to report back to the White House after spending time in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Tensions between federal and state officials are growing more heated in the wake of Alex Pretti&rsquo;s death, after two Border Patrol agents shot him on Saturday.
