There&rsquo;s no doubt about it. Can&rsquo;t we just say no to Trump for once?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The ICE-linked security team will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/milan-mayor-says-ice-security-not-welcome-at-winter-olympics-2\/\" title=\"... says ... &#039;not welcome&#039; at ...\">support diplomatic security details<\/a> in Milan without carrying out any immigration enforcement operations, according to the <em>Associated Press<\/em>. ICE confirmed its participation in the security detail.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;At the Olympics, ICE&rsquo;s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is supporting the US Department of State&rsquo;s Diplomatic Security Service and host nation to vet and mitigate risks from transnational criminal organizations,&rdquo; the immigration agency said in a statement, adding that &ldquo;all security operations remain under Italian authority.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>ICE also stressed its officers do &ldquo;not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/milan-mayor-says-ice-security-not-welcome-at-winter-olympics\/\" title=\"... says ... &#039;not welcome&#039; at ...\">conduct immigration enforcement operations<\/a> in foreign countries.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s unclear how many ICE officers will be deployed to the Winter Olympics, scheduled from Feb. 6 to Feb. 22.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jd-vance\/\">JD Vance<\/a>, second lady <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/usha-vance\/\">Usha Vance<\/a>, and Secretary of State <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/marco-rubio\/\">Marco Rubio<\/a> are set to attend the sporting event&rsquo;s opening ceremony on Feb. 6. The heated situation has led to two separate officer-involved shootings, one of which killed <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/4411039\/what-to-know-ice-shooting-minneapolis-left-one-woman-dead\/\">Renee Good<\/a> earlier this month and the other claimed the life of <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/4432691\/what-to-know-fatal-shooting-border-patrol-minnesota\/\">Alex Pretti<\/a> over the weekend.
