Public Schools Use Black Lives Matter Curricula To Teach Black History Month\">guiding principles<\/a>, saying the sentiment should be obvious and using the F-word repeatedly during an episode of his show I&#8217;ve Had It. He defended his patriotism, recounting his <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >parents&#8217; immigrant backgrounds<\/a> and saying their story exemplifies the American possibility. The CBS Evening News had posted the principle on X along with others like &#8220;We work for you&#8221; and &#8220;We respect you,&#8221; and anchor Tony Dokoupil said he would prioritize &#8220;the average American&#8221; in coverage. Into Profanity-Filled Freakout\">simple principles&#038;rdquo<\/a>; during a Thursday episode of &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve Had It.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We make no apologies for saying so,&rdquo; the show&rsquo;s X account <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CBSEveningNews\/status\/2007186590465216586?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posted<\/a> on Jan. 2.<\/p>\n<p>Acosta <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LV0ZTabC1qU&amp;t=1277s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suggested<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLa2mr0CgSHfhgyDNxenIMeAA6zpCKSduo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">show<\/a>&nbsp;that the statement should go without saying and used variations of the F-word five times in under one minute.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Get the f*** out of here. We all love America. That&rsquo;s why we&rsquo;re doing this. The reason why I do my job, and I like doing my job, is I love this country. I f***ing love this country,&rdquo; Acosta said. &ldquo;My dad came from Cuba in 1962 three weeks before the Cuban missile crisis, fled communism. My mom, her folks were from the New York area. They came through Ellis Island. One of my great-grandparents was a maid at the Dakota Building here in Manhattan.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And these two families came together, and there I popped out, and I went to the White House and gave Donald Trump a hell of a f***ing time.
