Slotkin has acknowledged being contacted by the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office for the District of Columbia; crow says DOJ interview requests have been extended to all six, and the FBI previously sought interviews thru the sergeants-at-arms. The U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office would not confirm or deny an inquiry. The group has been labeled the &#8220;Seditious Six&#8221; by some governance-aligned figures, leading to public disputes &#8211; notably between Kelly and commentator Pete Hegseth, which have included attempts to demote Kelly and subsequent litigation. Jason Crow (D-CO).<\/p>\n<p>Crow appeared in the November video alongside five fellow veteran lawmakers: Sens. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/elissa-slotkin\/\">Elissa Slotkin<\/a> (D-MI) and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/mark-kelly\/\">Mark Kelly<\/a> (D-AZ), and Reps. Now he&rsquo;s pressuring his political appointees to harass me for daring to speak up and hold him accountable. I won&rsquo;t be intimidated and will keep fighting to uphold my oath to the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/constitution\/\">Constitution<\/a> and defend our country,&rdquo; Crow said in a statement to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Crow&rsquo;s office told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office for the District of Columbia sent an interview request to Crow regarding the November video. In November, the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/crow.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/joint-statement-in-response-to-fbi-inquiry\">FBI requested interviews<\/a> with the six lawmakers through the sergeants-at-arms of the House and Senate.<\/p>\n<p>When reached for comment on Crow and Slotkin&rsquo;s statements, the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office for the District of Columbia told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that it does not &ldquo;confirm or deny the existence of an investigation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3895703\/jason-crow-audio-actual-threats-trump-democrats-sedition-post\/\">JASON CROW RELEASES AUDIO OF &lsquo;ACTUAL THREATS&rsquo; SINCE TRUMP SINGLED OUT DEMOCRATS FOR &lsquo;SEDITION&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the November video in question, the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >veteran lawmakers told military service members<\/a> that &ldquo;threats&rdquo; to the Constitution are coming &ldquo;from right here at home.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers in the video have been dubbed the &ldquo;Seditious Six&rdquo; by administration officials, such as War Secretary <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/pete-hegseth\/\">Pete Hegseth<\/a>. Hegseth and Kelly have <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3903298\/kelly-hegseth-illegal-orders-double-tap\/\">traded many barbs<\/a> over the past several months since the release of the video.
