Elissa slotkin and Mark Kelly and Reps. Jason Crow, Maggie Goodlander, Chris Deluzio, and Chrissy Houlahan &#8211; have each been contacted by the Department of Justice, Rep. Jason Crow said. Slotkin confirmed she was contacted by the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office for the District of Columbia and said she is under investigation; Crow said the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office sent an interview request to him and that the FBI previously sought interviews with all six through the sergeants-at-arms. The video drew sharp criticism from President Donald Trump, who labeled the lawmakers&#8217; actions &#8220;seditious&#8221; on Truth Social and suggested they were punishable by death, prompting Crow to accuse Trump of pressuring officials to harass him. The U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office declined to confirm or deny an investigation.Administration figures have dubbed the group the &#8220;Seditious Six,&#8221; and the video has sparked ongoing clashes-most notably between Kelly and commentator Pete Hegseth, including a demotion move and a lawsuit. Into Andrew Brown Jr. Shooting\">civil rights investigation<\/a> of Minneapolis ICE shooting<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Slotkin announced on Tuesday that <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/4418052\/slotkin-reveals-shes-under-federal-investigation-for-illegal-orders-video\/\">she is under investigation <\/a>by the DOJ for her participation in the video, saying that she had been contacted by the office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AnthonyAdragna\/status\/2011518543461024071?s=20\">Crow said<\/a> on Wednesday that all six of the lawmakers in the video have been contacted by the DOJ.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Donald Trump called for my arrest, prosecution, and execution&mdash;all because I said something he didn&rsquo;t like. Now he&rsquo;s pressuring his political appointees to harass me for daring to speak up and hold him accountable. I won&rsquo;t be intimidated and will keep fighting to uphold my oath to the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/constitution\/\">Constitution<\/a> and defend our country,&rdquo; Crow said in a statement to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Crow&rsquo;s office told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office for the District of Columbia sent an interview request to Crow regarding the November video. In November, the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/crow.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/joint-statement-in-response-to-fbi-inquiry\">FBI requested interviews<\/a> with the six lawmakers through the sergeants-at-arms of the House and Senate.<\/p>\n<p>When reached for comment on Crow and Slotkin&rsquo;s statements, the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office for the District of Columbia told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that it does not &ldquo;confirm or deny the existence of an investigation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3895703\/jason-crow-audio-actual-threats-trump-democrats-sedition-post\/\">JASON CROW RELEASES AUDIO OF &lsquo;ACTUAL THREATS&rsquo; SINCE TRUMP SINGLED OUT DEMOCRATS FOR &lsquo;SEDITION&rsquo;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the November video in question, the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >veteran lawmakers told military service members<\/a> that &ldquo;threats&rdquo; to the Constitution are coming &ldquo;from right here at home.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The lawmakers in the video have been dubbed the &ldquo;Seditious Six&rdquo; by administration officials, such as War Secretary <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/pete-hegseth\/\">Pete Hegseth<\/a>. Hegseth and Kelly have <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3903298\/kelly-hegseth-illegal-orders-double-tap\/\">traded many barbs<\/a> over the past several months since the release of the video.
