Several states, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/4415426\/minnesota-illinois-trump-lawsuit-ice-operations\/\">including Minnesota<\/a>, have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/outraged-oxford-parents-demand-answers-after-deadly-shooting\/\" title=\"Outraged Oxford Parents Demand Answers After Deadly Shooting\">filed lawsuits seeking<\/a> to restrict ICE from operating, while calls are growing from some on the Left to completely abolish the agency and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/investigations\/4411482\/aoc-khanna-break-democrats-call-arrest-ice-officer-minnesota\/\">immediately prosecute <\/a>Ross.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration has stood by its argument that the shooting was justified because Good &ldquo;weaponized her vehicle&rdquo; after refusing to comply with law enforcement. Other members of the progressive House Caucus, including Reps.&nbsp;Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), want to completely defund and abolish ICE.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/4375237\/ice-politico-reporter-inciting-violence\/\"><strong>ICE ACCUSES POLITICO REPORTER OF &lsquo;INCITING VIOLENCE&rsquo; AGAINST FEDS IN SOCIAL MEDIA POST<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The divide mimics the split on approaches to Ross.<\/p>\n<p>Leading Democrats in the House and Senate, as well as Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, have expressed support for allowing a federal investigation into the shooting to play out before pressing charges against Ross. That position sets them apart from colleagues such as Reps.
