Committee Chairman James Comer said no Democrats attended either and that the panel will move to hold Clinton in contempt of Congress. The Clintons sent a letter to Comer calling the subpoenas legally invalid, accusing him of misplaced priorities, and urging the Department of Justice to release all Epstein files. The article recalls previously unsealed documents and victim statements that linked Clinton to Epstein &#8211; including flight logs showing Clinton traveled on Epstein&#8217;s plane and Virginia Giuffre&#8217;s claim she met him twice &#8211; and notes Clinton&#8217;s repeated denials of knowledge about Epstein&#8217;s sex trafficking. Sondland Sues Pompeo, State Department for .8M in Legal Fees\">closed-door testimony<\/a> in regards to the House&rsquo;s probe into Epstein but never showed. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said &ldquo;not a single Democrat&rdquo; showed up to the deposition either.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1208835411\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Following Clinton&rsquo;s no-show, Comer <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EricLDaugh\/status\/2011099114679980518?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>, &ldquo;We will move next week in the House Oversight Committee &hellip; to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;No one&rsquo;s accusing Bill Clinton of any wrongdoing,&rdquo; Comer told reporters. &ldquo;We just have questions. And that&rsquo;s why the Democrats voted, along with Republicans, to subpoena Bill Clinton.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Hillary Clinton is slated to appear before the committee on Wednesday, though it is unclear if she will show. <\/p>\n<p>The Clintons released a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BillClinton\/status\/2011098958236697021?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a> Wednesday that was sent to Comer in which they deflected from the Epstein case, alleging Comer of having misplaced priorities and that the subpoenas are &ldquo;legally invalid.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The letter further alleged that Comer has not forced &ldquo;the Department of Justice to follow the law and release all its Epstein files, including any material regarding us as we have publicly called for.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Despite everything that needs to be done to help our country, you are on the cusp of bringing Congress to a halt to pursue a rarely used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-republican-house-oversight-committee-to-hold-bill-clinton-in-contempt\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Republican ... to ... in Contempt\">process literally designed<\/a> to result in our imprisonment,&rdquo; the letter continued. &ldquo;We have tried to give you the little information we have. We&rsquo;ve done so because Mr. Epstein&rsquo;s crimes were horrific. If the Government didn&rsquo;t do all it could to investigate and prosecute these crimes, for whatever reason, that should be the focus of your work&hellip;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2024, a<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/04\/clinton-likes-them-young-unsealed-deposition-of-epstein-victim-names-42nd-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> judge unsealed<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/controligarchsbook.files.wordpress.com\/2024\/01\/all-epstein-1320-docs-combined.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">documents and transcripts<\/a> that included an admission from an Epstein victim who claimed that Epstein told her that Clinton &ldquo;likes them young, referring to girls.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As The Federalist&rsquo;s Jordan Boyd reported, &ldquo;Clinton has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/angelurena\/status\/1148357927625023490?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">repeatedly denied<\/a>&nbsp;knowing anything about Epstein&rsquo;s sex ring. Yet, part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >settled 2015 defamation lawsuit brought<\/a> by Virginia Roberts against Maxwell suggests the former president may have more knowledge about Epstein&rsquo;s scheme to entice minor girls to travel and engage in sexual relations with the financier and his guests than Clinton initially let on.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/bill-clinton-jeffrey-epstein\/story?id=127629827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ABC New<\/a>s, flight logs show Clinton &ldquo;and his entourage had taken four international sojourns&rdquo; on Epstein&rsquo;s private plane.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Roberts Giuffre, a victim of Epstein&rsquo;s, told the U.K&rsquo;s Mail on Sunday newspaper in 2011 that she met the former president twice, including once on Epstein&rsquo;s island, as reported by ABC News. Guiffre said there were &ldquo;two young brunettes&rdquo; present at one of the dinners, the outlet reported. Giuffre reportedly said she did not witness any interactions between Clinton and other women that were there. <\/p>\n<p>Epstein also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/epstein-owned-painting-bill-clinton-120000702.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">owned<\/a> a painting of Clinton in a blue dress.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<div class=\"article-author-description fst-italic\">      Brianna Lyman is an elections correspondent at The Federalist.
