Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) says she has been notified that she is the subject of a federal investigation over a joint video released last November in which six congressional veterans warned intelligence and military personnel that they &#8220;can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-accused-of-encouraging-military-coup-with-coordinated-message-to-armed-services-personnel\/\" title=\"Democrats Accused of Encouraging ...Military Coup... with Coordinated Message to Armed Services Personnel\">refuse illegal orders<\/a>.&#8221; Slotkin, a former CIA officer, told The New York Times she learned of the probe from the office of U.S. Attorney jeanine Pirro and described the personal and professional pressures that have followed the video&#8217;s release. The video featured Slotkin, Sen. Mark Kelly (D\u2011Ariz.) and Representatives Chris Deluzio, Chrissy Houlahan, Jason Crow, and Maggie Hassan (the article names Goodlander-appears to be a typo), and warned that threats to the Constitution &#8220;aren&#8217;t just coming from abroad.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>Separately, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has accused Sen. Kelly of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice for his role in the video, initiated retirement-grade reduction proceedings, and been sued by Kelly. The video warned that &ldquo;this administration is pitting&rdquo; military members and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/slotkin-reveals-shes-under-federal-investigation-for-illegal-orders-video\/\" title=\"... reveals she...s under ... for ...illegal orders... video\">intelligence community professionals &#038;ldquo<\/a>;against &ldquo;American citizens.&rdquo; It also warned that &ldquo;threats to our Constitution aren&rsquo;t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Sen, Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), and Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH) appeared in the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Fk9Gh3qwW4I&amp;lc=UgyBwqBWT145Umn3PYN4AaABAg\">video<\/a> and issued a message saying, &ldquo;You can refuse illegal orders.&rdquo; None, however, elaborated on what orders were considered unlawful.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Facts matter little, but the threat matters quite a bit,&rdquo; Slotkin said in her interview with <em>The New York Times<\/em>. &ldquo;The threat of legal action; the threat to your family; the threat to your staff; the threat to you.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Slotkin is the second senator to face an investigation regarding the video. Sen. Mark Kelly was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/defense\/4406576\/hegseth-demotes-mark-kelly-issues-censure-seditious-six-video\/\">accused of violating two articles<\/a> of the Uniform Code of Military Justice by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who issued a letter of censure and a request to demote Kelly earlier this month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Six weeks ago, Senator Mark Kelly &mdash; and five other members of Congress &mdash; released a reckless and seditious video that was clearly intended to undermine good order and military discipline,&rdquo; Hegseth <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SecWar\/status\/2008189258528665898\">said<\/a> in a post on X. &ldquo;As a retired Navy Captain who is still receiving a military pension, Captain Kelly knows he is still accountable to military justice. And the Department of War &mdash; and the American people &mdash; expect justice.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Therefore, in response to Senator Mark Kelly&rsquo;s seditious statements &mdash; and his pattern of reckless misconduct &mdash; the Department of War is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hegseth-reviewing-mark-kellys-military-retirement-following-seditious-video-asking-troops-to-ignore-orders\/\" title=\"...
