Chuck Grassley remain at odds over how long her testimony and the senators&#8217; questioning should be. Noem reportedly wanted just one five-minute round of questioning per senator, which Grassley rejected as to short; he said he&#8217;s open to negotiating the number of rounds but not five-minute limits, noting Attorney General Pam Bondi answered for 10 minutes per senator at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-judiciary-committee-holds-hearing-on-voting-rights-act\/\" title=\"House ... holds ... on Voting Rights Act\">prior hearing<\/a>.Democrats on the committee have particular interest in Noem&#8217;s testimony following a recent ICE-related fatal shooting in Minneapolis, and Republicans have criticized her for not appearing before the panel last year despite requests.
