The Dec. 22 release says xAI&#8217;s Grok family models will be embedded into the platform,with initial deployment targeted for early 2026 at Impact Level 5 (IL5) to securely handle Controlled Unclassified Facts (CUI). the integration includes access to real\u2011time insights from X (formerly Twitter), which the department says will give personnel an information advantage. xAI previously announced a $200 million contract with the War department and launched &#8220;xAI for Government&#8221;; its products are also available on the GSA schedule for use across federal agencies. on GenAI.mil, which is the War Department&rsquo;s &ldquo;bespoke AI platform.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This initiative will soon embed xAI&rsquo;s frontier AI systems, based on the Grok family of models, directly into GenAI.mil,&rdquo; the release concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes months after xAI announced a $200 million contract with the War Department.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the contract, xAI <a href=\"https:\/\/x.ai\/news\/government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>&nbsp;in July that it had launched a suite of products called xAI for Government.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;xAI&rsquo;s mission is to create and propagate AI tools to assist humanity in our quest for understanding and knowledge,&rdquo;
