Her wife can be heard telling Good to drive ahead just before Good allegedly struck the officer with her SUV.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) and others argued on social media that the shooting was justified because Good failed to comply with law enforcement, instead driving toward the officers as they demanded she get out of her vehicle and stop impeding their <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/policy\/immigration\/\">immigration<\/a> enforcement activities.<\/p>\n<p>Good was &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lawler4ny\/status\/2009710904976265267\">clearly provoking and escalating<\/a> the situation,&rdquo; &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mattvanswol\/status\/2009695108611092611\">slammed on the accelerator<\/a> directly into the officer,&rdquo; and &ldquo;hit&rdquo; him &ldquo;HARD,&rdquo; according to Lawler and scientist Matt Van Swol, respectively. The videos prove that Good &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JonathanTurley\/status\/2009705463219445997\">speeds directly into the officer<\/a>,&rdquo; who had &ldquo;a split second to decide&rdquo; what to do, George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley and Lawler, respectively, allege.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Everyone has the right to protest, but they should not interfere with law enforcement, ever &mdash; especially using their vehicle to try and block them from doing their job,&rdquo; Lawler said. &ldquo;She sought to drive off and accelerated quickly, hitting the officer with her car.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the other side, users questioned if Ross was truly &ldquo;in fear of his life&rdquo; and &ldquo;rammed&rdquo; by the car, expressing concern over his saying &ldquo;f****** bitch,&rdquo; after shooting Good. They argue Good likely did not have murderous intent, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/dana916\/status\/2009727186065101049\">saying footage indicates <\/a>she backed her car up and &ldquo;aggressively&rdquo; <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PawlowskiMario\/status\/2009033333905248433\">turned her steering <\/a>wheel to apparently avoid hitting officers. Others, however, have suggested she was straightening her wheel to face the officer in front of her, as footage shows her wheels pointing right at the officer when they first start turning &mdash; spinning out due to ice on the road.
