Homeland Security Secretary <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kristi-noem\/\">Kristi Noem<\/a> called Good&rsquo;s actions &ldquo;an act of domestic terrorism&rdquo; and said the officer &ldquo;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/4410744\/noem-ice-shooting-officer-dragged-vehicle-ramming\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/border-patrol-agents-opened-fire-in-chicago-as-10-cars-boxed-them-in-shot-armed-cbp-stalker\/\" title=\"Border Patrol Agents Opened Fire in Chicago as 10 Cars Boxed Them in, Shot Armed CBP Stalker\">fired defensive shots<\/a><\/a>.&rdquo; Democratic officials in Minnesota, such as Frey and Gov. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tim-walz\/\">Tim Walz<\/a> (D-MN), have rejected this narrative, encouraging Minnesotans to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/4410744\/noem-ice-shooting-officer-dragged-vehicle-ramming\/\">honor Good and peacefully protest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;From the very beginning, they&rsquo;re calling the victim a domestic terrorist,&rdquo; Frey said during a Friday press conference. &ldquo;They&rsquo;re calling the actions of the agent involved as some form of defensive posture, we know that they&rsquo;ve already determined much of the investigation, and even if they haven&rsquo;t, there is the appearance that there is some conclusion drawn from the very beginning.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/4411803\/jd-vance-defends-ice-officer-shooting-minnesota-absolute-immunity\/\">Vance defended the ICE officer<\/a> in question at a press briefing with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt Thursday. Vance said Good was carrying out &ldquo;an attack on law and order.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>When asked by a reporter why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bank-of-america-is-without-the-knowledge-or-the-consent-of-customers-sharing-private-info-with-feds-tucker-carlson-reports\/\" title=\"Bank Of America \u2018Is Without The Knowledge Or The Consent\u2019 Of Customers \u2018Sharing Private\u2019 Info With Feds, Tucker Carlson Reports\">federal law enforcement officials<\/a>, and not state or local officials, are carrying out the investigation into the shooting, Vance said it is a federal issue.
